Moorfield Primary School

I have been a teacher at Moorfield primary School since 2005.  During my time here I have taught across the school in both Key Stage 1 and 2.  I spent a long time teaching in Reception class and am now the Year 2 teacher.  I thoroughly enjoy my role in school which is to lead and manage the Early Years and Key Stage 1 area of the school. In addition to my teaching role, I am also Science co-ordinator.   

More recently I have taken on the role of Assistant Head teacher and a responsibility for special educational needs.

Prior to teaching I studied English Language at Bangor University before completing a PGCE at the University of Manchester.

Outside of school life I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching films and shopping for new shoes!
