Return to School - COVID19
Return to School from Wednesday 2nd September
Our risk assessment is continually reviewed and the latest version is uploaded here
Following recent Government guidance concerning the re-opening of schools in September 2020, we have been working with the local authority and within Government guidelines to produce a risk assessment for re-opening of our school.
Also included below is some essential information regarding start and finish times.
This should be read in conjunction with an email sent to all parents on 24th August 2020.

Please don't worry if you are not sure where your pick up or drop off point is - there will be lots of staff around to help you and point you in the right direction.
Parents should collect their children and then leave the school site straightaway. Parents should also observe social distancing whilst waiting for the children to be dismissed from the classroom.
Please make sure that you arrive at the correct time, as if you are late, teachers cannot send children to More Moorfield - the 15-minute rule will not apply whilst these new arrangements are in place.
There will be no access to the car park except for Breakfast Club and After School Clubs. The car park will be closed at peak times and the barrier will be down. Please inform any adults that pick up your children of the current parking/pick up situation.
We need to limit visitors to the school during this time.
At the moment the easiest way to communicate with the school is via email or telephone. Sue Hedges and Mrs Perrin will ensure that your query gets to the correct member of staff.
If you have information you would like your child's teacher to know during the day, please give them a note or write it in their diary.
Rules around symptoms remain the same:
If your child has any of the symptoms below, they must not come into school:
- A high temperature - this means that they feel hot to touch on their chest or back (you do not need to measure their temperature)
- A new continuous dry cough - this means coughing a lot more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (If they usually have a cough, it may be worse than normal)
- A change to their normal taste or smell
If your child develops any of the above symptoms during the school day, you will be called and asked to collect them.
We have tried to put plans in place that will make school run smoothly and safely for the children and not be too much of a change for them. This page will be updated as guidance changes and if you do have any queries about any of the information, please email email@example.com in the first instance.
